The story of Thorson Homes is a story about family. Thorson Homes was started in 1978 by Brian Thorson and his wife, Patti, as custom home builders Twin Cities. We are based in the South Metro with a focus on the Eagan, MN and the surrounding South Metro communities. Brian and Patti’s son Nick has been building & remodeling for the last 20 years, ensuring that the legacy of their successful family-owned home building business will continue. As we have been building homes, we have also been building relationships with both our customers and our trusted contractors. We believe in delivering quality work to our clients and believe that starts with talented, conscientious people. 

Our beliefs have been the foundation for our success. Our dedication to our clients have resulted in Thorson Homes being awarded the Reggie Award of Excellence, the Trillium Award for Quality Achievement, Eagan #1 New Home Builder, and numerous other building awards. Most importantly, it has resulted in earning the trust of previous customers, who come back to us when they want to remodel or add a feature to their home. In fact, because of such requests, the Thorson Remodeling division was added in 2009. This division focuses on finishing basements, adding decks and porches, and updating kitchens and bathrooms.
